Pictured to the left is the head, esophagus, crop, and the gizzard. The highest point where one is allowed to slaughter is not clearly depicted in this image, but the lowest point the top of crop is visible. This lowest point is where the veshet begins to expand and become the crop. In this image the veshet is almost completely filled with water. It is much larger than the veshet in the previous picture. The point indicated is where it should be clear from the picture the veshet is beginning to become wider and hence the crop.
